Today, Gloo Code comes out of beta. While this initial release is only an early step toward our long-term vision, it is already remarkably smart, effective, and architected at its foundation to transcend orchestration like managing extra tabs, agents, knowledge bases, and screens. We hope that, as you build into the remainder of 2026 and beyond, you’ll find that Gloo Code, and the vision we have for it, helps you on your journey to take your unique and creative ideas and turn them into a powerful testament of human intelligence and innovation.

Gloo Code builds on the reliable foundation of Gloo AI Studio, helping you accelerate development while being designed to support code privacy and data security. Today’s release is just the beginning, built with continuous feedback from real teams, including our own, using it in production.

At Gloo, we believe relationships catalyze growth, and technology should support that. Yet many organizations are under pressure to adopt AI, collecting a pile of tools to prove they’re “doing something” while struggling to ship real results. We built Gloo Code to cut through that noise: a reliable coding harness with purpose-built agent–model pairings, fixed pricing, and privacy protections that help you bring your ideas to life without creating another tool you have to manage.

AI should serve the people who use it

We do not believe the future of AI is people chained to their desks or phones where they manage agents, rewrite prompts, and give up another weekend to one more project.

We have felt that tension ourselves. We have spent hours checking on agents, compacting context, steering features, and keeping work moving. The promise of anything agentic is that it gives people more capacity. But if using that capacity means becoming an agentic, full-time project manager, the tool has simply created another kind of work.

Life is bigger than whatever tool is trending today.

It is about the software you are trying to build, the organization you lead, the skills you are learning, and the community you serve. It is about showing up for your family, friends, and colleagues. AI should create space for what matters—not pull you further away from it.

We believe the future is powerful, private, and affordable technology that serves the people who use it. Technology that helps someone carry an idea into the world while preserving their judgment, their creativity, and their ownership of the outcome. Not technology that asks people to outsource their thinking—or their human connection—to a model.

More models should not mean more work

Every new model brings real possibility. It also brings more decisions: Which model is right for this task? Which vendor should we bet on? How will this scale? What will it cost? What happens to our ideas, code, and data?

For individuals, those questions can make powerful technology feel inaccessible. For teams, they can become a maze of tool decisions, security reviews, and unpredictable usage. For leaders, they make it hard to explain the return on investment—or on mission.

Gloo Code is designed to take work out of that process.

It combines purpose-built agents with benchmarked model pairings that work effectively together across development workflows. Rather than requiring builders to continually choose, assemble, and manage a shifting collection of models, agents, and tools, Gloo Code brings those decisions into a product built to help them get to useful outcomes.

We are not committed to one model provider or one frontier lab. We are committed to making the technology useful, efficient, and dependable as the landscape and capabilities change.

The goal is not to hand your work over to a model. The goal is to help you keep moving: from an idea to a working feature, from a problem to a solution, from a project to something that can serve real people.

Privacy and predictable pricing should not be enterprise luxuries

AI coding tools today often force a trade-off: choose a low-cost option and accept uncertainty around data practices, or pay more and enter a complex enterprise process to get the protections your organization needs.

We do not accept that trade-off.

Gloo Code is live with fixed, predictable pricing and zero-data-retention protections for the models available to build with. Your code, your ideas, and your organization’s context should not become someone else’s training material or an open-ended expense you cannot plan around.

This matters for the individual developer building an idea after hours. It matters for the founder trying to make a small team go farther. It matters for product and business leaders accountable for what gets shipped. It matters for IT and engineering teams that must protect systems and data. And it matters for educators and students learning what it means to build responsibly in an AI-native world.

Powerful AI should not be reserved for the organizations with the largest budgets or the most time to navigate the market.

The beginning of a more intelligent foundation

Today, Gloo Code works in the terminal and desktop app. We use Gloo Code to build Gloo Code, and we use it to continue building Gloo AI Studio other products, experiences, and technologies across Gloo.

That is an important start. It is not the final vision.

We are building from the ground up toward a private, intelligent foundation that goes farther than a chat conversation and the context someone happens to provide in a moment. Over time, technology should understand more of the work itself: the code, the goals, the systems, the people being served, and the outcomes that matter.

It should not require people to begin again every session. It should help them carry their work forward.

We have much to learn, and we will learn it from the people who share how they use Gloo Code. We will keep building in the open, measuring what works, listening when it does not, and improving the product with the real-world feedback of teams building with it every day.

Gloo Code is available today. Try it. Build with it. Tell us what helps, what falls short, and what you need next.

The future of AI should not turn people into full-time orchestrators of technology. It should help people do the work that matters.
